Description:

Lalitha Sahasranamam is the praises and attributes of the names of Mother Goddess, Devi Lalitha ( Gouri + Lakshmi +Saraswathi). Worship of her Supreme aspect is through her most celebrated Lalitāsahasranāma or One Thousand names of Lalitā.

Chanting the Sahasranama is a ritual by itself. It purifies the mind and uplifts the consciousness.

‘Sahasranamam’ is a Sanskrit term referring to “a thousand names.”

It is said that chanting Lalitha Sahasranamam can bring wonders to the life of the reciter. This powerful mantra when recited with clear devotion and dedication is said to bring amazing results.

Ma Lalita is the mother of all beings including Brahma Vishnu and Mahesh.

The song of the Lalita Sahsranama was given by Shree Hayagriva ( vishnu ) to Sage Agastya.

Every syllable of the 100 names is a mantra of unexcelled power and magic

Just listening to this Lalita sahasranama with reverence for its glory and magnificence is an act which invokes the wish granting jewel.

About Teacher:

Dr Shardha Batra is a Vedic Teacher from the Shree Krishnamacharya tradition.

She is an MD who pursued and converged her understanding of modern sciences and psychology with her interest in ancient Indian scriptures and spiritual sciences

She has a deep understanding of the Vedas, Yoga Sutras and Puranas and effortlessly weaves them into her narrative to explain everyday challenges and situations in a way that leads seekers to find their own answers.

Her effort is to help students unravel the marvels of this knowledge that remain hidden in plain sight.
